We are looking for a BAA to support to our Buyer and Assistant Buyer across Knit, Jersey and Petite for our Whistles brand. The successful candidate will be organised and collaborative in their approach and possess a passion for our brand.

What You'll Do:
 
  • As the Buying Admin Assistant, you’ll be the go-to-person for the critical path, tracking timelines and ensuring every stage of the product lifecycle runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • You'll take ownership of sample management, from organisation and tracking to preparing samples for meetings, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time.
  • You'll actively contribute to analysing competitor activity and the latest seasonal trends, helping us stay ahead of the curve and inform our future brands collections.
  • As the Buying Admin Assistant, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and preparing for range sign-off meetings, managing our systems and processes that keep our department moving forward seamlessly.
  • Immersing yourself in our brands brand, you’ll gain deep knowledge of our business and actively contribute to the creation of a profitable range.

Who You'll Be:

You'll be highly organised, with a strong eye for detail and for keeping things on track. Most importantly, you're eager to learn and soak up knowledge from our experienced Buying team from day one.

While any previous exposure to a buying environment (through work, placements, or internships) would be a bonus, it's not essential. We're looking for someone who brings:

  • A commercial mindset and a desire to contribute to the success of our brands.
  • Resourceful communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • High motivation and a proactive attitude, always looking for ways to contribute and learn.
