About The Role

If you want to lead the buying strategy for our Phase Eight collections, then this Head of Buying & Technical opportunity is the role for you.

We’re recruiting for an accomplished buying leader who can put the customer requirements at the centre of our product offer to develop and deliver commercial and profitable ranges that maximise sales opportunities whilst demonstrating our brand ethos and focus on high quality.

Reporting into our Product Director, the Head of Buying & Technical is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of all product areas within Phase Eight.

We are proud of our brand heritage and style credentials and want someone who can build on our success to reach new goals.

The successful candidate will lead the buying, sourcing and technical teams and work closely with the merchandising and design teams to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded range encompassing clothing, footwear, accessories, childrenswear, and petites.

This exciting role is a critical part of the Phase Eight leadership team and will contribute to the strategic direction of the brand across all channels.

About You

This senior role will draw on your empowering and motivating leadership skills to mentor and support a team of specialists to achieve professional success in a culture of continuous growth.

Your previous experience of developing and delivering a sourcing strategy will be utilised to full effect as you continue to seek opportunities to improve margin, whilst maintaining our quality, delivery, and supplier relationships. You’ll be responsible for the sustainability strategy for Phase Eight and will work closely with our group CSR team.
