About The Role

We are looking for a Retail Operations Manager to lead our Retail Operations Team to ensure the department fulfils its role as a central point of contact in managing communications between our Central Teams (Head Office) and UK field-based retail teams.

Our retail operations team are focused on improving operational standards and delivering profitability within our TFG Brands portfolio. The team’s aim is to make sure all our stores are commercial, delivering excellent customer service and have a visually impactful in-store environment. They collaborate with all areas of the business to ensure any business initiative is delivered in a way that is manageable for our store teams.

Working in close partnership with our Head of Central Retail Operations we are looking for our Retail Operations Manager to drive the provision of service excellence, leading key retail initiatives within the Retail Operations department.

Key accountabilities for this role include;

  • Being the voice of Retail Operations, building relationships with key departments across the business internally, partnering with external hosts to build strong working relationships
  • Managing and forecasting the budget and forecasting of all costs relating to Retail Operations and overseeing payroll models
  • Inspiring and celebrating the success of the Retail Operations team through clear focus on coaching and development, promoting internal succession
  • Overseeing the planning and delivery of weekly communications, key messages, weekly financial reviews and key business updates
  • Partner closely with our Regional Managers, Head of Central Retail Operations and Retail Director, managing the new store opening process for retail, ensuring our teams have everything in place for opening
  • Organising our annual retail conferences with the assistance of the Retail Operations Team

About You

We are looking for our Retail Operations Manager to be highly collaborative, proactive and great at building working relationships. To be successful in this role you will thrive in a fast-paced fashion retail environment and will be commercially astute. You will have demonstrable experience in developing a highly engaged and high performing team ideally within a retail operations function.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) and strong written and verbal skills is key for success in this role.
